Ohio displays PUCO in lieu of a USDOT number, not in addition to one, and it applies to for-hire intrastate carriers. Private intrastate carriers display neither. If you are not sure which you are, message us before ordering.

A note on the 2 inch rule
Most sellers tell you 2 inch letters are federally required. They are not. 49 CFR 390.21(c) only requires markings on both sides that contrast sharply with the background and are legible from 50 feet in daylight. The 2 inch figure comes from individual state rules and industry habit. We size to whichever standard applies to you and tell you which one it is.
