This policy explains what information we collect when you use fleetdecaldepot.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It is written to describe what this site actually does — not a generic template.
The short version. We collect only what we need to cut your decals and get them to you. We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, or trackers of any kind on this site. We do not sell your information to anyone, ever.
What we collect
Only what you type in or what an order requires:
- Your order details — the wording you want cut (your USDOT number, company name, unit numbers and so on), the size and color you pick, and any notes you add.
- Contact information — your email address, and your name and phone number if you give them, so we can send your proof and answer questions.
- A shipping address, collected at checkout so we can post your order.
- Artwork you upload — if you send a logo or a photo of your vehicle for a layout proof.
The wording you send us is often your business's public compliance markings. We treat it as your information regardless, and we do not publish it or use it as an example without asking you first.
What we do not do
- No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no Hotjar, no session recording, and no advertising tracker anywhere on this site.
- No tracking cookies. The site uses your browser's local storage to remember what is in your cart. That stays on your device and is never sent to us.
- No selling or renting your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- No marketing email unless you ask for it. Ordering does not sign you up for anything.
Payment information
We never see or store your card number. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI Level 1 payment processor. You enter your card on Stripe's page, not ours. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded, plus the billing name and email Stripe passes back so we can match the payment to your order.
Who else touches your information
Only the services required to run the shop:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Netlify — hosts this website and receives form submissions and file uploads.
- Google — our order and contact email runs through Gmail.
- Shipping carriers — USPS, UPS or FedEx receive your name and address to deliver the parcel.
Each of these has its own privacy policy. We do not give any of them permission to use your information for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we are legally required to for tax purposes, which in Nevada is generally four years. We keep your decal artwork and layout on file so that reorders and annual renewals match your existing set exactly — that is the whole point of keeping it. If you would rather we deleted your artwork after your order ships, say so and we will.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information, except records we must keep for tax or fraud reasons;
- send you a copy of your information.
California residents. Under the CCPA and CPRA you have the rights above plus the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, so there is nothing for you to opt out of. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose beyond filling your order.

Children
This is a commercial vehicle compliance shop. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
The whole site is served over HTTPS. Card data never reaches our systems. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
