California Business and Professions Code 7029.5 requires C-36 plumbing, C-45 sign and C-57 well drilling contractors to display, on each side of every commercially registered vehicle used in the business, their name, permanent business address and contractor license number, in letters and numerals not less than 1 1/2 inches high. Failure to comply is grounds for disciplinary action. The CSLB extends name, address and license display to other classifications as well.
