What's actually required?
Federal rule 49 CFR §390.21 requires your legal or trade name and USDOT number on both sides of the power unit, legible from 50 ft. The MC number is not a federal marking (many carriers add it); GVW/GVWR is a state-level requirement in some states. Not sure which lines your operation needs? Application (about 15 minutes)
