Layouts

Doing a whole building
Send the list, suite 101 through 214, and we cut every door in one run. Same font, same height, same position off the frame, which is the part that makes a corridor look managed rather than let.
Gold, frosted or plain
Frosted reads as etched glass and suits professional offices. Gold suits anywhere with a doorman. Plain white or black is right for everywhere else and costs the least.
Where it goes
On glass, centred at about five feet six so it is at eye level standing. On a solid door, the same height on the latch side. If the door has a light, put the number on the glass and keep the wood clear.
Straight answer on ada
Cut vinyl on glass is not the same thing as tactile room signage. The ADA Standards require permanent rooms and spaces to be identified with raised characters and braille, mounted beside the latch side of the door. A vinyl decal cannot do that, and we will not tell you it can. What vinyl is good for is directional and informational marking, window graphics and door wording, which the same standards treat differently. If a plan reviewer or inspector is involved, buy tactile plaques for the rooms and use these for everything else.
