Frosted for the glass that needs it
Exam room lights and consult room glass want a frosted band at seated eye level, with the room name knocked out of the frost so it still reads. Same order, same font as everything else.
Straight answer on ada
Cut vinyl on glass is not the same thing as tactile room signage. The ADA Standards require permanent rooms and spaces to be identified with raised characters and braille, mounted beside the latch side of the door. A vinyl decal cannot do that, and we will not tell you it can. What vinyl is good for is directional and informational marking, window graphics and door wording, which the same standards treat differently. If a plan reviewer or inspector is involved, buy tactile plaques for the rooms and use these for everything else.
Surfaces that get wiped down
Clinic doors get cleaned with alcohol and quaternary disinfectants several times a day. Everything we cut here is a solvent-resistant cast film for that reason. A cheap calendered decal lifts at the edges within a month of that treatment.
