Two ways to do it
Plain cut vinyl straight onto the glass, which is the cheapest and reads cleanly. Or a frosted panel with the room name knocked out of it, which gives privacy at seated eye level and looks like etched glass for a fraction of the price.
Name the whole floor at once
Boardroom, Studio 2, Huddle, Focus, Library, Phone Room 1. Send the list and every door arrives in the same font at the same height, positioned the same distance off the frame. That consistency is what separates a fitted-out office from an office with signs on it.
Your logo in frost too
The same frosted film takes your office logo knocked out of it, which is the standard reception-glass treatment and costs no more than the room names.
Straight answer on ada
Cut vinyl on glass is not the same thing as tactile room signage. The ADA Standards require permanent rooms and spaces to be identified with raised characters and braille, mounted beside the latch side of the door. A vinyl decal cannot do that, and we will not tell you it can. What vinyl is good for is directional and informational marking, window graphics and door wording, which the same standards treat differently. If a plan reviewer or inspector is involved, buy tactile plaques for the rooms and use these for everything else.
Comes off when the lease does
Frosted film and cut vinyl both remove cleanly from glass, so this does not become a dilapidations problem at the end of the term.
