The reeded glass look without replacing the glass. Vertical frosted bars with slim clear lines between them, cut from frosted window film and fitted to your exact glass, so the reeds come out even edge to edge.
Three reed widths
- Narrow Reeds: 1/2 in bars, 3/16 in clear lines. Closest to real fluted glass, best on cabinets and small panes.
- Classic Reeds: 3/4 in bars, 1/4 in clear lines. The all-rounder for doors and windows.
- Wide Reeds: 1 1/4 in bars, 3/8 in clear lines. Bold, for big doors and glass walls.
Bars come out within a hair of these sizes: we stretch them slightly so they fill your glass evenly.
How much it hides
Mostly frost with thin clear lines, so it screens well: light and shapes come through, detail doesn't. Want more see-through? Pick Pattern in clear, which turns the bars clear and the lines frosted.
Pick your window size
Measure the glass you can see, not the frame, in inches. Multiply width x height and divide by 144 to get square feet, then pick the size at or above that.
- Up to 4 sq ft: about 24 x 24 in, a door vision panel or small window
- Up to 8 sq ft: about 36 x 32 in, a bathroom window
- Up to 12 sq ft: about 36 x 48 in, a standard window
- Up to 16 sq ft: about 36 x 64 in, a half-glass door
- Up to 20 sq ft: about 36 x 80 in, a full-glass door
- Up to 24 sq ft: about 48 x 72 in, a big window or sidelight pair
One side of the glass has to be 46 in or less. Bigger glass, or more than 24 sq ft? Message us first. Several panes? Add one to your cart for each pane, each with its own size, and type every measurement in the box.
Cut to your exact glass
This is not a stock sheet you trim. We fit the pattern to your measurements, so the repeats come out even and nothing ends in a thin sliver at the edges. You get one piece per pane, pre-masked with transfer tape, ready to go on.
Two looks, same price
- Pattern in frost: the pattern is frosted, the space around it stays clear.
- Pattern in clear: solid frost with the pattern showing as clear glass.

Install
Goes on the inside of the glass. Clean the glass with soapy water and a lint-free cloth, dry it, tape the top edge in place, peel the backing and squeegee from the center out, then pull off the transfer tape. Big panes go easier with two people. It peels off later without damaging the glass, so it works for renters too. Clean it with mild soap and water and a soft cloth.
